It’s Seth’s day

UPDATE 6/23/13:  Work exhausts me.  I barely have time for myself, much less for blogging.  Forgive my succinct snippets.  Some is better than none at all, right?

Seth celebrated his birthday three days ago.  Despite my urge to write a novel I’ll keep it brief.  My world has been enriched considerably in the few years I’ve counted Seth as one of my best friends.  He’s one of the few people on this planet who can get through to me loudly and clearly– no small feat– and I always value his opinion.  I may not always follow his advice but he knows me, he loves me, and he doesn’t judge me.  Few people exhibit the patience Seth does when it comes to listening to me cry for an hour on the phone [true story] or helping me understand some of life’s great mysteries.  It hurts my heart that Seth is one of the friends I love most and see the least, so that’s something I need to change.
